This includes speeding, cell phone use while driving and driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

The cause of this serious accident was not specified.

Most motor vehicle accidents are caused from negligence on the part of one of the drivers. It is important that drivers remain vigilant and aware while on the roadways. Driving responsibly could drastically reduce the amount of serious accidents.

Thousands are seriously injured or killed in the state of Connecticut each year due to distracted drivers. These mistakes have terrible consequences that impact people for their entire lives.
