Connecticut man loses life in fatal accident

One man has died as a result of a recent two-car collision. The fatal accident occurred in Wallingford. A woman was also injured during the crash, and authorities in Connecticut are investigating the incident. 

The driver of the newer car, now deceased, is described as a 90-year-old man from Darien. He was transporting a passenger, an 82-year-old woman, who is reported to have suffered injuries not thought to be life-threatening. The man’s car struck another vehicle, a truck, while he was attempting to navigate a turn.

The man was driving westbound and tried to take a turn onto an southbound route. His vehicle and the truck collided, causing the accident and the injuries. The  driver of the truck suffered only minor injuries. He was not taken to the hospital. Traffic was affected and the route was closed as authorities attempted to investigate the circumstances of the crash. 

The fatal accident in Connecticut is a tragedy. At this time, it is unclear who or what caused the loss of life and the injuries. If it is found that the other driver was responsible for the accident due to some error or negligence, he may also be held responsible for the damages that resulted from the crash. his injured passenger would still have a personal injury claim against his estate.
