A recent car crash in Connecticut is responsible for the death of one individual. The fatal accident reportedly occurred in Bridgeport on June 19. Police believe that speed was a factor in this tragic event.

According to reports, a 31-year-old male was driving through an intersection when his vehicle was struck by another car. The impact of the crash is said to have split the victim’s automobile in two. Sadly, according to a video report, this gentleman died at the scene of the accident.

The driver deemed responsible for this incident — a 62-year-old male — was reportedly driving nearly 100 mph when the crash occurred. It is unknown whether he was injured in the wreck. It is also unknown whether this individual is facing any criminal charges in regard to this matter.

The victim leaves behind two young children and other family members who are struggling to cope with this tragic and unexpected loss. In accordance with the laws of Connecticut, the victim’s loved ones may be entitled to seek compensation for any damages they have sustained as a result of this fatal accident. A wrongful death claim may be filed in civil court against the man believed responsible for this crash. By taking such action, a monetary judgment may be achieved, which could help this family cover funeral expenses and the various other economic losses they have experienced as a direct result of this incident. Furthermore, by seeking to hold this individual accountable they may also gain a sense of closure if litigation proves successful.
