Alyssa Hague is a cum laude graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law, admitted to the Connecticut Bar in January, 2021. Alyssa has been assisting with the firm's criminal defense practice, while learning the practical and legal aspects of representing injury victims. She received her Juris Doctor in 2020 where she graduated with a concentration in Criminal Law and Advocacy, with Honors. Alyssa was selected to participate in the Civil Justice Clinic at Quinnipiac where she successfully represented individuals applying for pardons and parole. She competed in the Borrelli National Family Law Moot Court Competition on a team which succeeded in reaching the semi-final round. She also competed in the Queens County District Attorney Mock Trial Competition.
While attending law school, Alyssa participated in a number of hands-on internships that gave her extensive practical experience. She interned at the States Attorney's Office for the Judicial District of Middlesex; the Federal Public Defender's Office in New Haven; and worked as a law clerk for a New Haven criminal defense firm where she assisted in a high-profile homicide case. Prior to law school, and following her graduation from UCONN, Alyssa spent a gap year at Jacobs & Dow as a legal assistant, working primarily with Attorney Willie Dow on criminal defense matters. She participated in several trials and other court proceedings, including attending all proceedings from jury selection through verdict in a multi-defendant felony murder case. She continued her relationship with the firm throughout law school, working as a paralegal, law clerk and trial assistant.
Alyssa was raised in Cheshire, Connecticut and graduated from Cheshire High School where she played field hockey and lacrosse. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and criminal justice from the University of Connecticut in 2016. She is engaged to be married, and she and her fiancée own and love Rosie, their Boston Terrier.
