3-year-old boy becomes Connecticut pedestrian accident victim

A police pursuit gone wrong resulted in the death of a young child on Tuesday, Nov. 21. Four other people were injured in addition to the young pedestrian accident victim. A local news outlet reported the story of the accident in Connecticut and gives details of the developing story.

Initial reports say that an unmarked police officer attempted to pull over one person in a car. The driver of that car, identified as an 18-year-old male, tried to flee from the police officer. While attempting to flee, the car struck another car in traffic and caused a telephone pole to fall on four nearby pedestrians.

Witnesses ran to help the people and lifted the pole from the pedestrians. It was apparent that the 3-year-old boy was not in good shape, and he was reported to be deceased. Two other individuals were life-flighted to nearby hospitals. Another person, the driver of the car that was struck, also suffered injuries as a result of the accident.

The accident resulted in a tragic end for one pedestrian accident victim. The conditions of the other victims have not immediately been released, but it appears that they also suffered serious injuries. In Connecticut, a person who is a victim of the negligence of a driver is entitled to awards for any damages, including medical costs, pain and suffering, and wrongful death. During such a trying time, a person may require assistance with their court case. A personal injury attorney can provide help and legal guidance for the victims.
