The Connecticut court system is divided into Judicial Districts, consisting of groups of neighboring towns. Although we practice all over Connecticut, the majority of our clients and cases involve the following Judicial Districts:
the Judicial District of New Haven, consisting of the towns of Bethany, Branford, Cheshire, East Haven, Guilford, Hamden, Madison, Meriden, New Haven, North Branford, North Haven, Wallingford and Woodbridge;
the Judicial District of Ansonia-Milford, consisting of the towns of Ansonia, Beacon Falls, Derby, Milford, Orange, Oxford, Seymour, Shelton and West Haven;
the Judicial District of Fairfield, consisting of the towns of Bridgeport, Easton, Fairfield, Monroe, Stratford and Trumbull;
the Judicial District of Stamford-Norwalk, consisting of the towns of Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Weston, Westport and Wilton;
the Judicial District of Waterbury, consisting of the towns of Middlebury, Naugatuck, Prospect, Southbury, Waterbury, Watertown, Wolcott and Woodbury; and
the Judicial District of Middlesex, consisting of the towns of Chester, Clinton, Cromwell, Deep River, Durham, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Killingworth, Middlefield, Middletown, Old Saybrook, Portland and Westbrook;
the Judicial District of New Britain, consisting of the towns of Berlin, Bristol, Burlington, New Britain, Newington, Plainville, Plymouth, Rocky Hill, Southington and Wethersfield; and
the Judicial District of Hartford, consisting of the towns of Avon, Bloomfield, Canton, East Granby, East Hartford, East Windsor, Enfield, Farmington, Glastonbury, Granby, Hartford, Manchester, Marlborough, Simsbury, South Windsor, Suffield, West Hartford, Windsor and Windsor Locks.
We have also represented clients and tried cases in the more distant corners of the state, including Danbury, Litchfield, New London and Tolland.
Our Federal practice is statewide. We represent clients in all Federal courthouses including Bridgeport, New Haven and Hartford. When the Federal courthouse in Waterbury is active we practice there, too.
In additional, we practice in the Probate Courts of Connecticut, and we have appeared before many Connecticut administrative agencies.
Some of our attorneys are admitted to practice in New York, and do so as necessary.
