A will contest usually begins in the Probate Court and moves from there to the Superior Court. Litigating these matters requires both a familiarity with the law governing wills and trusts, Probate procedure, and the interface between the Probate and the Superior Court.
Jacobs, Grudberg, Belt & Dow has handled many such contests, and litigated one all the way to the Connecticut Supreme Court. This was the case of Erickson v. Erickson, 246 Conn. 359 (1998).
If you or someone in your family has a question or a concern regarding a probate matter, we are happy to discuss it with you.
